How we use your information
Mama2Mama Baby Essentials (registered charity 1199777), 1A Pett Street, Woolwich, London SE18 5BH, is responsible for your information. Our Data Protection Lead is Zuzana Fratrikova, Founder and CEO.
- What we collect: your name, contact details, age group, availability and how you'd like to help, plus a parent or guardian's name and phone number if you are under 18.
- Why we use it: to get in touch about volunteering, arrange a friendly chat and induction, and plan sessions safely.
- Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in organising volunteers, and the steps you ask us to take before you start volunteering.
- Under 18s: we will also contact your parent or guardian. Under 16s must be accompanied to and from sessions by a parent or responsible adult, as our Volunteer Policy explains.
- What we don't ask for: we don't collect health or criminal record information on this form. If a role needs a DBS check, we will explain this separately before anything is requested.
- Who sees it: our CEO and Baby Bank Coordinator only.
- How long we keep it: we delete this sign up form from our website systems automatically 6 months after you send it. If you go on to volunteer with us, we keep a separate volunteer record under our Volunteer Policy, for up to 6 years after you stop volunteering.
Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@mama2mama.org.uk. We normally reply within one month. If a concern involves our CEO, you can contact our Chair of Trustees, Miroslava Zverbikova, at zverbikovam@yahoo.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
