Who we can help
We are able to supply clothing and kit for families with new-borns and in emergency situations who live in the Greenwich borough.
If you don’t live in the area, view the UK baby banks map on Google search to find your local baby bank to you. You can also find a list of family support resources online via the little village website, including other ways to source baby equipment and clothing, as well as more general support.
Mama2Mama provides equipment, clothes and toys to families with children up to the age of 3. Everything we provide is donated by other families — we talk about items being ‘a gift from one mother to another. ’Our work has been affected by the pandemic, and we are currently able to only offer support to families who meet the following criteria: If you live in Greenwich borough and are either:
We can provide clothing (up to age 3), basic baby equipment — including a safe place to sleep for your baby, nappies and wipes — and toiletries for each member of your family. If you have older children, are not in an emergency situation, or do not live in the borough, we can provide a hygiene essentials pack, which includes a month’s supply of toiletries for each member of the family, plus nappies and wipes.
NHS provide help to buy food and milk through their healthy start scheme if you’re at least 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4 years old.
