Mama2Mama opened on Mother's Day, 14 March 2021.
Our founder Zuzana Fratrikova volunteered with other baby banks during 2020 and saw first hand how quickly supplies flew out, and how some families didn't have nappies to last until the next day.
So she set out to build a baby bank right here in Greenwich. A place where families could get what they need, with kindness and without judgement.

This project is very close to my heart. I know how it feels to want the very best for your little one, and how hard it can be when money is tight.
I will keep working with local government and businesses so that we can keep giving back to those who need it most.

Every family is welcomed warmly. No judgement, no awkward questions, just support.
We're parents too. We give the way we'd hope to be helped: kindly and with care.
Pre-loved items get a second life with a new family, instead of ending up in landfill.
We look at what the whole family needs, and work alongside parents to plan support, check in on how things are going and adjust it until they are back on their feet. We work alongside midwives, health visitors, children's centres, family hubs, social services and partners to connect families with wider support, such as parenting programmes, family support, employability and advice services.
